One of our most popular demonstrators, Gary, as usual impressed us with his speed and accuracy of turning. To day he completed 4 projects as shown in the photos on this page, including some tool sharpening technique.
The first project was a small bowl where Gary showed basic tool control and how to create a fluted surface decoration.
The pepper mill project was a more demanding task that involved a lot of accurate spindle turning.
The gavel & block components are shown in these photos. The need and method for accurate drilling of the hole for the handle was emphasized.
The last project was a traditional light pull, it took less than five minutes to turn
