Roger Foden Roger turned a goblet as shown here: Bill Jones had brought his world famous chess set referred to here. As several members showed a keen interest in the details of each of the pieces close up photos are included below. Each pieces has some 12 components all screwed together. On this occasion we had arranged a lunch for members who wanted to stay for both the morning and afternoon sessions. The photos here give a flavour of the occasion. Some of our committee members have spent a lot of effort to ‘refurbish’ and re-decorate the demonstration room and adjoining shop area. The photo here was taken when Bill Jones visited.
