Mike Favager

Mike has demonstrated for us in January, August and October this year (2023). As an ex-army and past Helicopter instructor his  grasp and attention to detail is evident when he demonstrates.  He is a full time professional turner now busy helping and instructing disabled and partially disabled people.

January. Using a cutter attached to the spindle various patterns were created as shown on these photos. The first photo, although not very clear, shows the sophisticated jig being used to hold the item being decorated by the cutter.

August. The photos show a loudspeaker intended for amplifying the sound from a mobile phone which you insert in the slot as shown.

October. Another gadget intended to remotely play music from a mobile phone on a separate speaker via Bluetooth. It worked remarkably well.
